To sum it up: I think too much.
I'm a psych student at the University of Canberra, passionate about my field of study, and very much looking forward to getting out of uni and into the real world. Trailblazing psychologists are my real-life heros... Ellis: "People make simple things complicated"; Rogers: "You are a good person and deserve to be loved"; Freud: "You might be fucked up, but hey, don't worry! So's everyone else!"
Mostly this blog is about knitting, psychology, and my personal journey through life. I find it fascinating, myself. But hey, isn't *everyone's* favourite topic of conversation themselves?
One word: beauty. I like beautiful things. The sensual experience of fibre-arts, the feel of merino and silk as it slips over your fingers and into the spinning wheel, the touch of alpaca or cotton as you transform it from a long thread into a garment. The possibility of glimpsing a flash of bright colour as a rosella zooms through your field of vision while walking somewhere. The gorgeous smells and warmth as you cook, and fill your kitchen and your home with life and love. The discovery of beauty in other people as you intertwine with them along your life journey. This is what it's all about.
