Small fuzzy things!!!!
So I was driving along Ginninderra Drive this morning and the traffic ahead of me was all slowed down (it's an 80 zone and they must be almost stationary) and I’m thinking WHY GOD WHY I’M GONNA BE LATE FOR WORK, and then I get up to where they are doing something like 50km/hr and there’s these two ducks crossing the 4 lanes of highway with about TEN DUCKLINGS!!!!!!
If any of you locals heard a strange squeal of joy and cuteoverload at about 10 to 9 echo around Canberra...
That was me.

Ah, the things you see in spring. :) So pleased the traffic stopped.

Wow! The traffic stopped? Gads. In my neck of the woods those ducks would have been history. I live in a semi-rural area, opposite a river. So we have lots of ducks and ducklings. And drivers doing 80 in the 50 zone.

Aaaaw, so nice the traffic stopped. Reminds me of 'Make Way for Ducklings', a book from the American phase of my childhood...

Are you trying to tell us you blogged about it, but you didn't stop long enough for photos?
